Valencia CF has granted CBRE, the leading international real estate consultancy and services firm, the exclusive mandate for the sale of the land on which Mestalla currently stands.
The plot, which houses Valencia CF’s stadium until the move to the Nou Mestalla in the summer of 2027, has a buildable area of approximately 90,000 m², envisaging a mix of residential and tertiary uses, including hotel and office space. This configuration offers high potential for transformation and repositioning, in line with current trends in multifunctional sports spaces and urban regeneration.
The operation will be led by CBRE’s Sports division, a business line focused on maximizing the value of sports assets and enhancing their positive impact on urban and social environments, in close coordination with CBRE’s Valencia office, where the company has been present for 25 years.
The collaboration between the Sports division and the local team will integrate specialized knowledge of the sports sector with an in-depth understanding of the local real estate market. This coordination will facilitate a strategic approach aligned with the characteristics of the asset and its urban context.
CBRE’s track record includes emblematic projects both nationally, such as the new Celta360 Sports City (RC Celta de Vigo), and internationally, such as the Everton Stadium (Everton F.C.).
